Archbishop Dunn addressed the entire Diocese of Halifax Yarmouth in a letter on January 28, 2021 in which he lists 4 Pastoral Priorities for 2021, Evangelization, Homelessness, Parish Identity and Catechesis.
The Bishop has asked us to focus on Parish Identity first, and to commit to developing a new Parish identity that is positive and united. The focus must be on the whole community of the faithful that makes up the parish to help foster healthy relationships with new understandings of Parish life and roles. The Pastoral Council, as suggested by the Bishop, would like to survey parishioners to see what is contributing to unity and what is challenging the movement toward being a united parish with one identity. The Pastoral Council will create an action plan based on the survey answers to address these needs to send to the Bishop by June 30th, 2021. We look forward to your guidance by answering the 4 questions listed below. Please Click Here to complete the survey by June 7, 2021. Thank you.
