"The Chosen" Watch Party

“The Chosen” (thechosen.tv) is a historical drama based on the life of Jesus Christ, as seen through the eyes of those who knew him. Join Mason Flemming each week to watch an episode from season 1 of “The Chosen” and share your thoughts about what you have seen with a small group.​

Each Friday from 6:30 PM-8:00 PM in the St. John the Baptist Room, beginning October 3. 

Home-Based Book Study

Sign up to read the book “Perfectly Yourself” by Matthew Kelly, which explains how God simply wants to help each person become who He created them to be. Each participant will be given a free copy of the book and assigned to an email group for online discussions. Book Pick-Up September 27/28, Email Groups starting September 28. 

Creative Writing

Celebrated authors Carol Bruneau and Jo-Ann Roberts invite you to join them for an eight-week interactive workshop as they discuss the process of writing for both Fiction and Memoir & Nonfiction and support you with your own creative writing. 

 

Please note that attendance for this workshop will be limited to 12 participants.

 

Each Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 PM in the St. Michael’s Library, beginning October 8. 

Home Based Formation

Grow your “faith IQ” by watching some of the amazing content available on Formed.org from anywhere using a computer, tablet or phone at any time - all for free! Each participant in this program will watch three selected series on Formed.org on their own time, with optional email groups available for online discussions with fellow parishioners.

Beginning September 28. 

Called & Gifted

Each one of us is blessed with a unique set of gifts, given to us by the Holy Spirit - but do you know which gifts are yours? Join Jonathan Campbell as he leads you through The Called & Gifted program from the Catherine of Siena Institute (siena.org) to help you grow deeper in your faith by discerning your personal charisms with the help of the Holy Spirit. Participants will attend two initial group sessions, watch a self-paced video series, and attend a one-on-one interview plus 3-4 small group discussions.

 

Please note that attendance for this workshop will be limited to 8 participants.

 

Initial Workshop - Saturday October 4 from 10:00 AM-4:00 PM in the St Peter Room.

Weekly Small Group - Mondays on November 3, 10, 24 from 6:30-8:00 PM in the St Peter Room.
